Arkansas ARES/RACES supports the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management operations.

Members are encouraged to be active in both ARES and RACES. Doing this we provide a dual format of operations to the served agencies  and people within the state.

The RACES operations at ADEM are responsible for operations at ADEM only. It is not over RACES operations within each county.  ADEM RACES operations are under the direction and control of the Information Systems Division Manager of the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.
