EQUIPMENT:  MFJ-1270B TNC, MFJ 1270C TNC, Motorola Mocom 70 Consolette (30 watts on 145.01 MHz), GE Mastr II 6m radio (35 watts)
ANTENNAS:  DB-224 2m antenna on top mounting, DB-201 6m ground plane on middle mounting rack
POWER:  Motorola has built-in supply, the 6m will run off batteries shared with voice repeaters that is charged by an Astron RS-35M, there is a backup generator on site
ERECTED:  Early 90's the SPA node was established to link to area network. Moved to present site in June of 2000. The tower collapsed in an ice storm in December 2000 (click here for pictures) and a new tower was erected in October 2001.
COMMENTS:  This node is in an excellent location to cover the greater Hot Springs area, as well as provide a 6m link between South & Southwest Arkansas to Central Arkansas.
